We use PayPal to process all PayPal and credit card orders. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time for orders The Papered Orb deems inappropriate or ordered at the incorrect price. We will refund any credit card charges for refusals.
The only information entered through our shopping cart is name, address and the product details. It’s then sent over an SSL-Encrypted Connection. Sensitive information such as credit card info is entered via PayPal. When you are in the payment details screen of the store, you will see a small lock. When you hover over it, it gives the details of the SSL information.
We will ship your order USPS Priority Mail or Express Mail, whichever you select on the shopping cart page. Fees are subject to change without prior notice. Should you desire a different form of shipping, additional shipping charges may apply. Contact us prior to placing an order for details.
Should your package be returned to The Papered Orb due to incorrect shipping information provided or unclaimed by the recipient, it will be the ordering customers responsibility to pay any and all charges to have the package reshipped. Unclaimed packages returned to us will remain unopened and in original packaging for 30 days. After 30 days we are no longer responsible for the item. Because of the nature of our custom business, returns are not refundable.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your custom order, you must first contact us within 5 days of receipt and describe the nature of the situation. Should a return be negotiated, The Papered Orb will refund 50% of the price paid for the ordered item minus shipping charges. Items returned without prior approval will not be refunded.
Order Cancellations
Due to the custom nature of this business, once photos and payment have been received and production has begun, cancellations will not be accepted.
Any damages to your Custom Orb during transit will be the responsibility of the carrier. You must contact the carrier for recovery of your purchase price. Any damages not caused by the carrier during transit must be submitted to us in writing within 5 days of receipt of shipment. We will do everything possible to satisfy your concern.
We will not sell or release your contact information to anyone for any reason, period.
Custom Orbs may have adornments that could be potential choking hazards for babies and young children should they become detached. Orbs are considered a piece of art and should be admired from a safe place. Custom Orbs are not toys. Orbs bases are considered shatterproof by the manufacturer under normal use. Any intentional abuse or destruction of an Orb by the purchaser or others holds The Papered Orb harmless. Any small pieces that should detach from the Orb by dropping, mishandling or abuse should be kept away from babies and children.
Your order of a Custom Orb signifies your consent to the terms on this site. If you do not agree to these terms, do not place an order with The Papered Orb. Material from The Papered Orb website shall be used for order placement only. Any other use of materials such as reproduction, distribution, retransmission, modification, public display and performance of such materials is prohibited. Under no circumstances should any materials be copied or reproduced from The Papered Orb website or other circulated materials.
